Mr. Md. Faruque Sikder, the Managing Director of Symphony Softtech Ltd., initiated the company’s software business at the end of 1998 by establishing a strategic partnership with Accpac Inc., USA for the ACCPAC software, which is now widely known as Sage 300, a product of Sage Software Inc., UK.

Mr. Sikder began his professional journey in the fields of IT education, trading, and the NGO sector. These early experiences inspired him to explore opportunities in next-generation IT business. His passion for learning and adopting new technologies has been instrumental in elevating Symphony Softtech Ltd. to a higher level since its inception.

Holding a Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, along with a solid background in business education, and being a Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB), Mr. Sikder has a deep understanding of organizational needs and the role of automation in enhancing productivity and operational efficiency.

He is highly experienced in ERP implementation and offers advisory and consulting services in the area of Value Added Tax (VAT), which has significantly contributed to the company’s growth and reputation. As an expert in business automation solutions, he has provided consulting services to major government bodies such as the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) and the Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB) under World Bank-funded projects.

Mr. Sikder is also a NBR-certified VAT Consultant, known for his dedication to team building, process optimization, and guiding technical professionals toward creating a successful IT enterprise in Bangladesh. Among his key achievements is the successful enlistment of Symphony Softtech Ltd. with the National Board of Revenue (NBR) as a certified VAT automation software provider—first in 2012 under the VAT & SD Act 1991, and again in 2019 under the VAT & SD Act 2012.
